Security Overload
In order to survive we must
Uphold the laws, in justice trust
Or else the system will break down
But when the line becomes too thin
where does justice end and tyranny begin?
Too much justice will pollute the crown
[chorus]*
More nor less to others paying,
Than by self offences weighing,
Some rise by sin, and some, by virtue, fall.
Too much justice could destroy
all of the things that we enjoy
Overloaded with security
Mercy must be part of it
Or else become a hypocrite
It’s not a crime to show some pity.
[chorus]
It’s not about which one is better
The answer is the two together
And that’s how, truly, nations thrive
[chorus]
*The chorus is from Shakespeare's "Measure
for Measure."
